Why you joined The Cleveland Colectivo: I'm very excited to be part of an incredibly cool group of people who collectively care about the city. Having participated in programs through the Cleveland Foundation and learned a bit about how philanthropic organizations work in this city, it’s exciting to be on such a grassroots level and to have the opportunity to help fledgling organizations and/or individuals get their ideas off the ground and begin to bring out changes where they’re most needed. There’s lots of exciting entrepreneurial energy in this city that I hope we can tap into. Beyond this, I love the learning experience of getting to build an organization from scratch and watching it develop organically into something meaningful in which everyone has a stake.
